Niwot [check the resources]
Nestled in the foothills between the cities of Boulder and Longmont, this enchanting unincorporated town combines a rich past with the convenience of modern amenities. Home to less than 5,000 residents, Niwot is defined by tree-lined streets, attractive, affordable and luxury homes and an excellent school system.
The center of town, historically designated 2nd Avenue, is an eclectic mix of eateries, antique shops, gourmet markets, retail outlets, specialty stores, pizza parlors and coffeehouses. Besides the many employment, recreational and cultural opportunities in neighboring communities, Niwot has its own array of sports, outdoor recreation and community celebrations. Several high-tech businesses (such as IBM and Case Logic) are less than five minutes away and Niwot boasts it's own post office and grange hall (and is the home of Crocs). It is, without question, a unique and wonderful place to call home. |
